    Disliked this.. Not …
Disliked this.. Not for the breed but for the vain egotistical people who breed them. Anybody who knows a show breeder knows that the dogs health isnt a worry so long as they can win.. A Stafford is a healthy active breed 17″+ not a cage potato 14″- .. Stand up for your breed. Not for the show..

agree 100% the height standard should be a min off 17 inch these dogs should be athletic muscular and slim not struggling to breathe or look like the runt of the litter, the dog that won was a very nice dog but that should be the min height

    brad rowland, you´ …
brad rowland, you´re so right!!!! It´s terrible! It´s a shame that these dogs don´t work anymore, cause they are great dogs if breeded correctly.
As the great Joe Mallen once said – You ask me what i think of the present-day dogs and old-timers.
Well, as regards the new standard,
i am sure they are bringing them too low to the ground.
Give me a Staffordshire about 17ins at the shoulder.
He must be on the alert, strong, active,
a very hard and strong muzzle with clean lips.

    Another prime …
Another prime example how the show tribe has put a breed who was athletic, winded and had high drive and turned it into a low slung out of breath couch potato!!! maybe next year the’ll set a new standard and lower there height another inch and keep there weight!!! Not hating just venting…commence
